Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Iso Athletes LLC ("Iso", "we") about your use of the Iso website and service (the "Service"). You accept them by checking the box on the sign-in form that says you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not check the box and do not use the Service.
We may revise these Terms. The date at the top is the revision you are reading. When a revision is material we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the Service after that date is acceptance of the revised Terms. Signing in after a revision asks you to accept it again.
2. What Iso is
Iso is a recruiting platform for high school football and basketball athletes. From the profile you build it scores college programs against your academic and athletic profile with a deterministic algorithm, generates a personalized recruiting plan and related guides, shows you the coaches on a program's staff, and drafts outreach emails that you edit and send yourself. Iso uses artificial intelligence, including Anthropic's Claude models, to generate plans, guides, explanations and drafts. Match scores are computed by code, not by a language model.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Iso. The Service is not available to anyone under 13 under any circumstances, and we delete any account we learn belongs to someone under 13.
If you are 13 to 17, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and the Privacy Policy with you and consents to your use of the Service. Parents and guardians can be invited to a read-only view of an athlete's account.
The person who pays for a subscription must be 18 or older. A minor may use the Service, but a paid plan is bought by an adult — a parent or guardian, or an athlete who is at least 18 — who confirms this at checkout. An account is personal to the athlete it was created for and may not be shared or transferred.
4. Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email address or with a Google account; Iso stores no password. You are responsible for the security of that email account and for everything done through your Iso account. Keep the information in your profile accurate and current — Iso's recommendations are only as good as what you enter. Tell us at support@isoathletes.com if you believe someone else has used your account.
5. Athlete data and AI processing
To provide match scores, plans, guides and drafts, Iso processes the profile information you submit — measurables, academic records, film links, positions, preferences, target schools, and the outreach you write. The parts of that profile a given feature needs are sent to Anthropic, PBC for AI processing through the Claude API; Anthropic's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. By using Iso's AI features you consent to that processing. The Privacy Policy describes everything we collect, everyone we share it with, and your rights.
6. Iso is independent of the NCAA
Iso is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, the NAIA, the NJCAA, or any college, university, conference or athletic program. Names of governing bodies and schools appear on the Service to identify them, nothing more.
NCAA recruiting rules govern when a college coach may contact an athlete; they do not prevent an athlete from writing to a coach. Everything sent through Iso is initiated by the athlete. The recruiting calendar Iso shows — dead periods, contact and evaluation periods, signing dates — is information about what those windows restrict a coach from doing, provided as a convenience. It is not legal or compliance advice. You are responsible for the rules of your own school, state association and any program you deal with; when in doubt, ask your athletic director or a compliance professional.
7. Outreach rules
Iso's outreach features exist so that you can write to coaches at programs you are genuinely interested in. Every message is drafted for you to edit, sent only when you press send, and signed with your own name and school. Nothing is sent to a coach on a timer or on your behalf, and nothing is sent back to a coach automatically.
Iso enforces its own pace rules so that a coach sees a person, not a tool: at most five new coaches a day and fifteen a week, one program a week, and no more than two messages to a coach who has not replied, never closer than seven days apart. A coach who asks to be left alone is never written to again from your account; a coach who reports your message as unwanted closes that conversation permanently, and a second such report pauses your sending until we review it.
You may not use Iso to send bulk or unsolicited messages to anyone, to harass or threaten a coach, to misrepresent your identity, age, academic record or athletic credentials, or to carry out any fraudulent or deceptive communication. Doing so ends your account.
8. No guaranteed outcome
Iso does not promise, and cannot promise, that you will receive a scholarship, an offer, a roster spot, a reply from any coach, admission to any school, or eligibility to compete. Iso has no relationships with college coaches and does not represent you to them. What Iso provides is information, a plan and drafts; what happens after you send an email is between you and the program. Anyone who tells you otherwise about a recruiting product is selling you something Iso will not.
9. Subscriptions, automatic renewal and cancellation
Starter is free and is not a trial. Paid plans and their prices are published on the pricing page; a plan that is listed but marked as not yet on sale or by application cannot be bought in the app. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; Iso never sees or stores your card number.
A paid plan renews automatically. When you subscribe you choose monthly or annual billing, and the plan renews at the end of each period at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. You confirm this, and that you are 18 or older, by checking the box at checkout. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect on your renewal.
You can cancel at any time in the app, from the billing page or the "Manage subscription" link there, without calling or emailing anyone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep the plan's features until then. Downgrades take effect on the next billing date; upgrades are prorated and charged immediately. Refunds are not generally given for partial periods, but we consider a request made within 7 days of an initial charge at support@isoathletes.com.
10. Your content, and copyright complaints
You own what you put into Iso — your profile, the emails you write, your notes. You give Iso a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to run the Service for you: to compute scores, generate plans and drafts, send the email you pressed send on, and show your public profile to anyone you give its link to. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies kept in the ordinary course of backup and for the records section 12 describes.
If you believe content on the Service infringes a copyright you own, send a notice to support@isoathletes.com that identifies the work, the material you say infringes it and where it is on the Service, your contact details, a statement made in good faith that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your physical or electronic signature. We remove or disable access to material identified in a complete notice and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
11. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, to access another person's account or data, to scrape or copy coach or program data for use outside the Service, to probe or disrupt the Service, or to build a competing database from it. Coach contact details on the Service come from programs' own published staff directories and from athletes who add an address; they are provided for the athlete-initiated contact section 7 describes and for nothing else.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account yourself at any time from your account page, which also lets you download a copy of your data first. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and removes your profile, plans, drafts and notes; sent-email records are retained as the Privacy Policy describes.
Iso may suspend or end your account, with notice where practical, if you violate these Terms, if a coach reports your outreach as unwanted more than once, if your use puts other athletes' ability to reach coaches at risk, or as required by law. Sections 8, 10 and 13 through 15 survive the end of your account.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. ISO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IT PROVIDES — INCLUDING AI-GENERATED CONTENT, MATCH SCORES, RECRUITING CALENDARS AND COACH CONTACT DATA — IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT. COACHING STAFFS CHANGE; VERIFY ANYTHING YOU ARE ABOUT TO ACT ON.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ISO AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, ADMISSION, SCHOLARSHIP OR ELIGIBILITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. ISO'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ISO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITS, IN WHICH CASE THEY APPLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED.
15. Disputes: talk first, then individual arbitration
If you have a dispute with Iso, email support@isoathletes.com first with a description of it and what you would like done. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and you and Iso each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration or representative proceeding. The arbitration is administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, takes place in the county where you live or by video, and Iso pays the filing and arbitrator fees for a claim under $10,000 unless the arbitrator finds the claim frivolous. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court, not in arbitration.
You can opt out of arbitration by emailing support@isoathletes.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating that you opt out; the rest of these Terms still apply. A parent or guardian may opt out on behalf of a minor.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any matter that is not arbitrated is brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Everything else
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Iso about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stands. Iso's not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; Iso may assign them to a successor of the business.
